The Student Herald Invite Mr. Stephen

About the speaker

Mr. Stephen

Licensed Canadian immigration practitioner, publisher and author — and the person who stands in front of your students.

Portrait of Mr. Stephen

Mr. Stephen began representing immigration clients in July 1993. In the decades since he has represented more than 5,000 clients in the Skilled Worker category, and he has built his practice around that group: the people who come to Canada to work, and to build a career.

He is an authorized representative, CICC licence R419719, on the public register of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Look it up yourself — he is listed there as Joy Stephen, licence R419719 — and ask the same of anyone who offers to advise your students.

Student and Career is a Student Herald initiative. Mr. Stephen is managing director of The Student Herald, the publication for students, and these seminars carry that work into the classroom. He also leads Polinsys, the Canadian immigration firm he has headed since 1994. He heads the statistical team of Raw Statistics, which analyses immigration data, and contributes data analysis to IRCNews. He is also an author, publishing under Pearl Pen and Pearl Post.

On myar.me he has published more than 3,000 immigration news and approach videos. 87 institutions are on record as having welcomed him, and the number is growing. Every visit is in person: he goes to the schools and universities himself and speaks with the final-year students.

How to confirm who is speaking: ircnews.ca/consultant shows how to verify a consultant on the register.
